‘Inquilab’ on a new mission

Recently, Hindi daily Dainik Jagran has bought MID DAY group which publishes eveninger Mid-Day and the widely circulated Urdu daily Inquilab. This deal is very important from the Muslim point of view as the daily Inquilab had been launched by Ansari brothers 72 years ago and was the only newspaper of the Muslims. It is very popular among the Urdu speaking masses and is seen as the representative of the Muslim community. The newspaper has a readership of about three lakh.
