Suicide Bombings: Why is Pakistan such a failed state?
During this blessed month of Ramadan no Muslim can even imagine getting involved in fighting or any type of terror. In such a sacred month every Muslim is supposed to keep himself engaged in Saum-o-Salaat and recitation of the Holy Quran. And yet in a country that is proud of being called an Islamic republic, there is a group which is involved in killings and that too of its own Muslim brethren. More than that, this group calls itself Muslim, and as if that were not enough of an outrage, a Mujahid of Islam. You would have understood which group I am referring to. This so called Muslim group is known as the "Pakistani Talibaan". This is the very group which killed hundreds of Shia Muslims first in Lahore and then at Gauri through suicide bombing. The question is what kind of an Islam this is that these Pakistani Taliban wish to establish. What was the crime of those killed? They were celebrating the Martyrdom Day of the fourth Muslim Caliph Hazrat Ali (KW). -- Zafar Agha

We are neither not an Islamic scholar nor experts in Shariah. Even then we all know from our ancestors and it is imprinted in our hearts and minds that the month of Ramadan is meant for prayers. This is a month of God's forgiveness and kindness and all-round development. We the faithful are supposed to observe fast and pray during the day and offer Taraweeh and recite Quran during the night. In short it is the month which is called the month of the Creator. That is the reason why God has ordered only for two things during this month, to pray to Him to the best of one’s ability and help the poor and needy in the form of Khairat and Zakat.

They were celebrating the Martyrdom Day of the fourth Muslim Caliph Hazrat Ali (KW). Then there was an attack in Quetta where the killed were celebrating "Yom-e-Qudus" in support of Palestinians on the occasion of the last Friday of Ramadan. The people killed were gathering for special prayer to get Quibla-e-Awwal liberated from the Jews. Is celebrating the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali a crime? Hazrat Ali was the person who had been the Commander of the Prophet’s army in every battle. This brother of Prophet Mohammad (saw) served the Prophet all through his life. When Prophet Mohammad (saw) was migrating from Medina to Mecca he asked Hazrat Ali to sleep in his bed so that the Kuffar take him to be the Prophet himself. Such was the persona of Hazrat Ali and he is the one who is one of the caliphs of Muslims and the Imam of the Shia sect. Will the Group who attacks the procession of the people celebrating the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali and gathering to pray to the Almighty for the freedom of Quibla-e-Awwal from the clutches of the Jews be called Muslim? What kind of an Islam it is?
The question is who are these Pakistani Taliban? This is the Group which calls itself an enemy of America whereas it has never inflicted any harm to it because its activities are limited to the territory of Pakistan only. 98% of the Pakistanis are Muslim and this organisation makes only Pakistanis it victim. Pakistani Taliban have only three enemies such as Pakistani Shias, Pakistani Sunni of the Bareilvi school and India. Whatever Pakistan may say, the fact remains that Hafiz Saeed is the patron of this outfit and he is creating such an Islamic ideology of which the main pillars are suicide attacks and killings and terrorism. What kind of Islam it is which allows the killing of innocent people in the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai. Does the Holy Quran ask us Kill the innocent people of a foreign country? As far as we know Quran says everybody is free to follow its religion. So who are these Pakistani Talbanis to punish anybody. Punishment is the prerogative of only Allah, the Almighty and nobody else.
Prophet Mohammad (saw) had spread the message of Mercy and Benevolence but a section of his followers has become a source of tyranny for his own people. This is not Islam but lunacy which has no objective except that of spreading hate and distrust in Pakistan.
Now, there cannot be any hesitation in accepting that Pakistan has become a failed State and its reason lies in the fact that Zia ul Haque's military government decided to establish modern secular system in Pakistan. Hence in this Pakistan there came a ritual of Medieval age of lashing the men and stoning of the women and this mindset of Zia ul Haque reached to a point where it started to be discussed as to which Islam is the real Islam and it created an Islam of the Talibani kind which is not ready to accept any other country's Islam or other sect as Muslim. This is the reason why this Talibani Islam is not fighting America but is rather indiscriminately firing at the Sufi shrines or on the Shias. If somebody is falling victim of this terror it is the Islam of Prophet Mohammad (saw) itself. The Islam of the Prophet Mohammad (saw) does not allow any bloodshed of at all.
May God save us from the tyranny of such Islamists!!!
